Looks like you had some fun with these! Where did you find them?
Pearl Studios: I bought them about 2 years ago when I went to New Orleans. They are figurines. 4 seperate pieces. The 4th guy lost his head (literally) so he was not able to make it.
Cool, what a fun shot. They lok like decorations for the top of a cake
Pearl Studios: Thanks Tracy. They are actually figurines.
I don't know why, ChiChi, but this is so very soulful to me. I LOVE how you have presented it against all the black!
Pearl Studios: Thanks Ginnie. I think that has to do with the framing and the fact that Sugar Lou look so into his sax. The lighting helps as well. Appreciate your comment.
Very nice shot..
Pearl Studios: Thanks Shakara.
Love this. Great still-life, beautifully arranged.
Pearl Studios: Thank you pixie.

Lady sings the blues
She's got them bad She feels so sad Wants the world to know Just what the blues is all about Lady sings the blues She tells her side nothing to hide Now the world will now Just what the blues is all about The blues ain't nothing but a pain in your heart when you get a bad start When you and your man have to part I ain't gonna just sit around and cry And now I won't die Because I love him Lady sings the blues she's got 'em bad She feels so sad The world will know She's never gonna sing them no more No more
Pearl Studios: Thanks Whitney. How is Bobby?
This is so cool LOL this is the real fun I know, I try these things too, you did a very good job, love it.
Pearl Studios: Thanks Astrid. Appreciate the comment.
almost can't tell if it's a photograph of statues or photograph of a painting
eitherway it's a very effective image even the noise is finding it hard to detract from this well done 'buddie'
Pearl Studios: The noise is because the lighting I used was very low wattage and therefore I had to shoot at a super high ISO so as not to sacrifice sharpness. In hindsight I probably could have used a tripod, albeit with a lot of inconvenience. Thanks for stopping by.

Very cool and nice shot
Great shot and I like the 'no-border' application here.
Pearl Studios: Thanks Louis.
I like this, I know they're models but the picture works in all ways it should
Pearl Studios: Thanks Ellie. I appreciate the comment.
